it's not that S-10 is impossible to get into, it's improbable. The building isn't necessrely abandoned.

I think the extra two 'ears' are ARMS. remember, this drawing was drawn by a patient and it is in a psychiatric hospital.

What building was that held in? S-10 or somewhere else?

..A ballroom with some modern updates. Notice the ceiling fans? They are from the late 70s-80s era. Not very old in other words.

Something about this bunny is a wee bit disturbing.

I wonder if anyone had thought of draining the tunnels yet.

If this tunnel has been flooded forever there must be a source. There's about 2 inches of water in the catacombs between w-6 and the traffic tunnel.

In black and white, this photo looks like the result of a raging inferno.

Three feet seems a bit excessive.

Would anyone be surprised if someone tried to blow a hole through the wall in the flooded steam tunnels unterneath Southampton Rd. in order to gain access to S-10?

When and how exactly did the infirmary roof get burned off?

You guys think way too hard.....All that writing on the wall was done by my friends and I...where it says "Pennhurst Mission"...we posed for a picture together...everything that is in this picture is from us...

My mother is a nurse, and worked with an agency that was brought in to help Pennhurst before it was a lost cause for the patients..some of what you are saying is true, but a lot of it is 'ghost stories'...

I have tons of pictures and experiences I can tell you about first hand, and from my mom...so if you're interested...you can contact me on AIM.

I think there are flooded catacombs underneath the patient walkway. There are also catacombs leading to the large auditorium.
