It is sad to see these old ships abandoned like this. Sometimes they take old ships like these and sink them to form reefs. Are these too heavy to move, or what? Can anyone give me info on this subject? Thanks! Thanks for the links, guys.
I am not a photographer, nor do I like being photographed. But, I have spent many an evening (not wasted), that I could have put into my studies (like NOW), that I have pored over as many of Motts' photos as I possibly could. The depth of his artistry, the way he makes a fireplace look beautifully out of place in a room that's falling down around it..well, I can't say much more than that. Carl, I am sure you are an excellent photograhpher, so if you could direct us to your website, so we can give you your 10,000+ compliments, I would appreciate it. AWESOME comments, Matt. There are many of us out here that echo your sentiment. Motts' work is Art.
Thanks, Rich! Now, Motts, when you look at the aircraft boneyards, doncha wanna go take some pictures? PUHLEEEEZE! (still waiting on the Dixmont photos, too!!!!)
Yes, I see it very clearly now. I guess between classes, tests, studying, work, no sleep....let's see, I need even MORE excuses...nope that's about it, excuse-wise. Would it be ridiculous for me to say, I see a cat's head...look for the ears.
Hya, ~Me! If you look on the net, it appears Mr. Witkin is a photographer of the morbid. Dead bodies and parts of dead bodies seem to be popular subjects of the artist. I guess, some people are into that sort of thing. It could induce nightmares for me, if I delved too deeply. I will just stick with our Mr. Motts. He makes me happy as a clam!
It still looks like a guy across the room to me. Maybe my imagination is just not as fertile as I thought it was. *sigh* I do see something that looks like a creepy face in cobwebs. Izzat what you're talking about, Silk?
