Either they had a runner up the stairs or they painted it to look like they did. Either way I love staircases!

Odd how there is always a little bit of the shades or curtains left no matter what condition the room is in. That little dresser is too cool.

i am sitting here trying to figure out what is causing the lighting to be that blue...vegetation on the windows woudl make it green...curtains still in the rooms maybe? Its such surreal color...beautiful.

Oh I remember that photo with the "shooting" stars! Thanks! Now I am getting my bearing here! I knew I had seen these buildings before...the arches that you said was the dining room stand out in my mind clearly.

I think it might be the patients - vandals use spray paint usually. Makes you wonder - was the patient here 14 years or where they 14 years old?

Gorgeous shelves - beautiful woodworking. And the chest on the second floor (that by rights we shouldn't be able to see from this room!) is also beautiful. How did they stay so pristine when the rest of the room was falling down around them?
