It's so easy to picture this in its heyday filled with people...what a waste.
It's like she knew the end was near and started to shed her beauty.
Could never figure out why they would cover such architecture with an ugly dropped ceiling...those arches are really something!
Just look at the carving on that woodwork. Fantastic. And quite an angle!
This reminds me of some of the great halls. It really was an elegant era.
Bet you there is a chair somewhere in here that I just haven't gotten to yet lol. Motts you ROCK!
It isn't only Detroit. This whole country tends to throw things away rather than fix and reuse. Eldokid, there definitely is a sog factor going on here!
The shadow looks like a rake. Lighting is awesome.
What a gorgeous building - built in the day when architecture and elegance was the norm. They sure don't build them like this anymore. I was so happy to see another set up!
Kind of makes you wonder why these were not taken with when the hospitals closed. I would think the patient would still need them. The movable fireplace is bizarre. Awesome photos - as always - you are a master at your work!

As bad a shape as parts of her were in, her sun bridge was gorgeous up to the very end. She will be missed. RIP old girl.
