as a person who has bipolar disorder i am fascinated by the subject of old mental instutions and so thankful that I wasn't aroud during this time for I surely would have been dumped at one. It's very scary ,indeed,to see the deplorable conditions and treatment these people faced everyday.I am so thankful that this man was so brave as to expose these conditions to the world through the use of his camera and I am glad that todays institutions have come so far.

I used to be a CNA and we used those in the nursing homes it's odd but I don't see the splash guard and the high pressure hose seems to be missing as well. The hopper room always smelled gross at the nursing home.
