I'm not sure if it was this same shape or not, but my grandma has told me her story about when she had her tonsils removed. She had to hold onto something like this, while the doctor performed the surgery (gross as it may sound, to catch what he cut out)...and she was awake for it! Can't even imagine what it was like!!! This was back in the late teens or early 20's.

Wow, reminds me of when I had my sleep studies done! I look like a freak every night now, with my CPAP machine and that sexy mask! My husband has one too, so I'd shutter to think what someone would think if they walked into our bedroom and saw us both hooked up to our machines with the masks and hoses...LOL!

I would have stayed in this place had I lived during its heyday! I just love old hotels! I love to imagine the people that would have come to stay here! If only to go back in time!

Are you freakin' kidding me? That's just way too gross! Looks like it might make for some good science experiments though:-)

This instantly reminded me of the scene from "Awakenings", where they fill in the white tiles with black shoe polish, so that the pattern will flow throughout the room and lead to the window.

We have a cupboard in our dining room that has a lock on it . Our house used to be a group home for mentally challenged about 25 years ago, and obviously they kept medication and things locked up in it. I've had a couple of experiences with ghostly type things happening (someone shoving the bed really hard while I was in it, orbs in photos, smells of things not in the house at the time, like cookies baking and flowers). Nothing that scares me at all, but it makes me sit up and take notice.

It looks to me like it's cut outs of a king and queen. Looks like the head on the right is wearing a crown, and the one on the left has one of those funky Elizabethian hairdos. Also, it looks as though their souls are being sucked in by that freakin' creepy clown!
