I don't live in that city but I have friends who do and I try to keep up on the preservationism there. Last I heard, the place had been secured and those magnificent windows boarded up; although that was a couple years ago and as far as I know, it's still sitting and rotting. Who knows what will become of it. Tragedy. Only City Methodist in Gary is worse.

Good for you that you did go in. You got some magnificent photos of a treasure living on borrowed time. It's gone now. Demolished in June of 2010. Sad and graphic videos on YouTube.
