I've been to Hell once........ his name was Joe......
CM.... I'm glad you're NOT an urban explorer to be honest. I doubt you could handle it.
I could go into the reasons for going to places like Byberry and hanging out in there..... but you just wouldn't understand.
Lastly, youre right, Kudos to Motts for being an URBAN EXPLORER and having the balls to go into such buildings and taking such fantastic pictures ~
It would be interesting to see the active parts and compare it to the abandoned part....
my computer got a virus from Peecho's site too... its too bad really because ther was a lot of stuff on there i wanted to read.
Perhaps the "desk" was an adult changing table?
Im not sure, but I think it was "El Peecho's" web site where he states that he found all kinds of secret rooms that were sealed up.... stairwells that were boarded over. He had some pictures.....
Motts, did you experience anything like this besides this room here?
workedwithpennhurstpts.... I'd like to hear more also....
Curtains match the walls.....
Like those murals - even when first painted would cheer anyone - especially a child... I'm beginning to believe that some of the decision makers at Pennhurst were really sick bastards.
Sam, yes, you seem quite intellegent to me.
If you do ever go back again, see if you can re-find them, While I would never condone torture, I am very curious to hear what exactly is on the pics.
I am very surprised that no one turned them over to the police....... weird.....
I always find that to be so odd.......
You take a Rusty Bed and turn it into a work of art.... [sigh........] I wish I could take such pictures....
Such a strange contrast... a patient bed in a basement against the stone walls.....
Great picture!
Lynne,
I agree with you wholeheartedly there... before my father passed away, while he was in the hospital, they had his hands tied with a posey. He fought so hard for so long to get his hands free, I believe he used his strength up and had no fight left for fighting for his life. It was very sad and difficult to watch.
