Anyone been here lately? The first 3 or 4 buildings you see as soon as you get off the SAG S/B have been torn down. It's sad to see all that beautiful architecture destroyed.

I got a typewriter just like that one except it works.

Maybe when they did that 40 years ago there was much more to it than just the shell of the building.

The asbestos crews seemed to destroy a lot. If it is sealed inside the walls where no one can get to it, its not a problem. Its only a problem when it will be disturbed or exposed to the elements and the asbestos becomes air born.

The window opening is kinda shaped like a mitton.

Is the electricity still on in this building too?

Thats sad. Our school used to be very ornate like that and they went through it and destroyed it the same way with the dropped ceilings and putting cheap paneling up covering everything nice looking underneath.
