Dang. Talk about uncomfortable. The mesh on those windows are disturbing to say the least.

Interesting. That solid door probably prevented more than just spit but shit from bieng flung as well.

Wow. Thats quite a picture. We didn't have bars on the window in the psychiatric hospital I was in. Actually we didn't have a window in our rooms. Only windows were in the dayroom and was made of double thick plexiglas.

Hmmm. It doesn't look like it but I would hope there was some padding to keep the patients from hurting themselves.

Amazing shot. I can only imagine severly distressed patients clinging to the mesh doors as staff walk past checking on them.
