Or somebody made a story up and passed it on and everyone's imagination flew away with it. I won't say I do or don't believe in ghosts. I personally have never experienced anything but if I ever do then I'll know.
Yes it was a movie from 1972. IIt's one of Wes Craven's earlier works. I suggest checking it out if you have the stomach and sanity for it. It's actually about some escaped prisoners...I won't say anything else.
You guys read into these pictures too much. One person says they see a face and they say where then all the rest of you let your imagination run and you make an entire character. I for one didn't see anything and I see something now but it doesn't look like a person or a demon. There's many logical explanations for this.
I think in most cases it's depressing to see graffiti but as it's already been discussed in this case it's kind of acceptable. There was a building around my dad's place growing up that was the same. The graffiti believe it or not was in good taste though; people actually drew nice pictures, it wasn't vulgar in any way.
I admire you Ed for trying to make a heavy metal statement.
Taking things and defacing property ruins it for future explorers. You (phantom) either didn't think of that or care. It really saddens me that the kids of this era don't appreciate true beauty and therefor someday we will no longer be able to enjoy the remains of anything. We'll be staring at a bunch of graffitti (sp?) and vandilism. At least there's still people out there like Motts.
I asked my stepmom about this picture because she's worked at a few institutes and her mother did as well and she says it looks like it could've just been a wash room. Not for people but for clothing/bedding and other things. The hole could've been where they slid everything in for someone to sort through and wash.
She could be wrong though but it's just a guess. She said it's hard to depict without actually being there and knowing further details so we may never know the answer to this.
