"Gallary that is...sheesh. My fingers don't want to work.
Whoopieee!! A new allary, just when I am feeling down in the dumps! This will cheer me up! :) I love the colors in this. It reminds me more of a school hallway than a hospital though. Tres WEIRD, Motts!
I too love old abandoned amusement parks! There is one not that far from where I live called Rocky Glen and I even have a video of the park as it used to be.

Motts...if you would like this DVD just email me and let me know because I can get my hands on it if you would like to really see an old park at its greatest. The park closed down in the 1980's (1987) and now all that is left is some old boards, abandoned junk, and maybe even traces of arson fires that gutted most of the buildings before it was razzed. :( I sure do miss this old park. I grew up here, I went to this amusement park many many many times as a child and on school field trips.

Let me know if you would like that DVD...no charge to you for shipping or anything. :) My email is kristieannesmama@aol.com!
Ephemera: Royal Land
LOL Lucie! Okay...I would go with you...as long as you protect me from THE ZOMBIES.

Gosh I LOVE the brickwork on the front there! That is really pretty.
Oooh if you do get a picture of the Lights, I wanna see it! :)

You are my hero, did you know that? :D
No problem Mari! Make sure you check out the newer gallaries posted not too long ago! LOTS of neat pics there too, and inside jokes! :)

See ya there!
@ Swamp Thing:

That looks like a highway sign ... like the ones that say "Flag Man Ahead" or something.

You could not pay me enough money to go towards that blackness. Eeee.
June 1979...

I was 8 years and 4 months old and I remember spending the Summers up in Canada with my mom, brother, and step-IDIOT (I mean father) and having all day to explore, fish off of our private dock of the cabin we'd rented or swim.

That was one heck of a Summer for me, even though shortly after that, my step-father beat my mom and us and got taken out of the house by the PoPo. :( I was so glad he was gone though. It was still a great year because now we didn't have to live in fear anymore and I didn't have to hear my mom crying all the time.
Well, I USED to like that color...

Humm...not so much now lol. Something about how that door swings in ... odd.
Amen Larry D.

I was in psych hospitals, and I have had my share of really BAD employees (staff) who really did NOT give a crap about us...but most of my experiences were positive and I am much better for them now.

Lynne and Motts -- you are my heroes.

Don't argue...you have my undying gratitude and respect. :)
It looks like they would take clients/patients down to the basement and lock them in this room with these gawd-awful pink doors...

I think that color just made me nauseous...where's my Pepto??
OMG I see that face...though it looks more simian than human.

When I was at a Psych Ward in a well-respected hospital here in PA (2 hours from where I live), the nurses would actually come around to the patients personally with a litlte cup of water and their pills. Of course there weren't many patients there compared to these facilities, but it always made the patients feel a little more comforatable and cared for getting their meds this way. Of course the ward I was on also had an open pantry area with crackers, cookies, and all sorts of juices available to the patients whenever they wanted them. THAT was a nice touch. The nurses there were very caring and even though they were horribly overworked (and underappreciated), they still treated us like humans.

I will never forget my experience there.

How was that Lynne?
Johhny--I wonder why that was...what made this room so statically...um....challenged compared to the other rooms?

I believe you 100000% btw...:)
Well...it certainly is airy isn't it now?
Pure.perfection.

I would Pirate Dance with Johnny ANYDAY!!!

Can you possibly share him with me?? PLEAAAAAAAASE??
