It reminds me of a country scene almost...instead of a pink dumpster I envision flocks of chickens pecking at the ground and cattle lowing in stables nearby as the horses whinny and stomp in their stalls to be ridden. :)
Haven't had much time to sit and look at da purrrrty pi'tchers cuz my fam'ly been right busy these days wit' da turkey-eatin' and da mashed taters...
:) NIce to see yall are thinking about me though! I have just been so busy having all 5 kids home and DH started a new job (yay us!) so it has been nuts taking over in the evening solo, if you know what I mean.
Now...on to the pictures...
Wow. Holes in the ceiling and bubbling and peeling paint...yup, she's a "ficer-upper" alright lol!
JUST KIDDING!! Hey I remember 1979 pretty well lol. I was 8 years old, and life was good in the 2nd Grade. :)
I remember my mom had bought me a "re-built" computer in the 80's sometime, and the person who had "re-built" it hadn't erased everything that was on it from the previous person...how interesting THAT was. Nothing dirty, just old junk files that I didn't understand since I was just a child at the time. :) That stupid thing never did work well, now that I think about it...
:P Ah, memories. I am such a geek myself, so more power to ya friend. :)
Nope. I am not ashamed of my past...everyone has one...
This hotel sure does seem to have a past, and an interesting one at that! I would have loved to see this place when it was filled with the hustle and bustle of patrons coming and going, on vacation or on business...
THAT would have been really priceless, but these photos sure do give you a sense of that Other Time, don't they?
Lots of things nick. My parents went through a nasty divorce and I just had a lot of emotional problems as a teenager. I am now 40 and have finally found out that part of it is Asperger's Syndrome, which is High-Functioning Autism.
My days locked away are long over now and we have 5 children and a house that keeps me more than busy lol. :)
This is a really pretty scene though. :) I can almost smell the pine. :)
