Are you kidding? I have had everyone on campus trying to figure out what this is, and the folks who are here have worked in institutional settings for 30 to 40 years. Mebbe this is some sort of weird Yankee device. ;-)
I won't make any comments about avian flu until Motts starts to dress up like a pigeon and try to peck at seeds. However, as soon as he looks like he wants to hover over your windshield, I personally recommend driving away as fast as you can . . . .

This is truly one of my favorite photos. Given how much I like all the 3,000+ pix on this site, that is saying something. There is something very confusing about this - the various parallel lines of the window panes are true to themselves, yet as a group they go different directions and throw your eyes off. Whatever is in the middle is sort of frightening - is it a door or a window? Why do the panes above it go horizontally instead of vertically like the others? Why are there no panes in the window to the right of it? And the best part is the distortion caused by the wide angle lens, making the room look like it is collapsing in on itself.
This is a brilliant shot. :-)
Crazy people and the people who did horrible things to 'em! =8-o
People with psychiatric issues don't generally prefer to be called "crazy" unless they say it about themselves to someone who "gets it", and the majority of people who work with folks with psychiatric issues are not abusive torturers.
Sumpin' like "Pay attention, here is where nosocomial infections arise," which are diseases one picks up while in the hospital (as opposed to having them before you were admitted to the hospital).
Sorry - that little emoticon is better looked at by tilting your head to the left - it is 2 eyes, a tear, a nose, and a sad face. --> 8`-(
If it is like this:

If they are shocked it is:
