yeah i agree with benji and the others, what fortitude it must have taken to lay in that filth ridden bath tub. absolutely never would i do that.

i have the urge to wanna be there with her and tell her that she's not alone anymore, and that things will be ok. that's how powerful these shots are.
if only she had a friend..just one friend...

those walls look awesome... imagine going through this place and coming across that! the sheer look of bewliderment on the person's face would be engraved forever on their souls.

I'm having trouble trying to sleep
I'm counting sheep but running out
As time ticks by
And still I try
No rest for crosstops in my mind

On my own... here we go

My eyes feel like they're gonna bleed
Dried up and bulging out my skull
My mouth is dry
My face is numb
fucked up and spun out in my room

On my own... here we go

My mind is set on overdrive
The clock is laughing in my face
A crooked spine
My sense's dulled
Passed the point of delerium

On my own... here we go

That is the perfect song for these pictures... you can't argue

that's some major bashing on your husband, deb. i sure hope he doesn't see what you wrote, poor guy. (he really piss himself??) and what is with the editorials on this page? good god, no i didn't read them, but hell, that's a lot of writing. pretty soon i'm gonna have to write one myself ;-)

sometimes i complain about my dorm bed in my room here at college, but after seeing this pic, jeez my bed all of a sudden feels like a puffy cumulous cloud!

that ceiling is in ruins. like the fact that a light is still hanging on by a thread.

oh man, this doesn't even look real! not to say that it isn't, but it's so surreal. what an amazing perspective this is. just...wow. really i can't find words to describe this. i've looked at alot of pictures on this site, this has to be one of my favorites if not the one favorite. top 2 or 3 no question about it. and i really agree with that description as well. all life has simple ceased to exist inside the chamber, a bird's eye view without the people, without the souls, without the time...

the color is just great in this one. first fading tan, then further down a pink hue, and the blue room at the end just makes the picture. that room looks so inviting compared to the rest of the pic, haha i'd be running towards that last room!

nice photo i say. those screen doors, were those locked?

wow, for an abandoned building this place is in good shape. all that marble makes the place look quite elegant. Motts, just wondering, I'm sure you've been asked this before but haven't you ever been bagged for going into these places, and if so how many times? And what happened, did you get arrested or let you off with a warning maybe?

ahaha Danny yes! only for me it was the 2003 ALCS.

i love the hallway shots, motts. infact, I would go so far as to say they're my favorites =D It looks so tempting to just go sprinting down that hallway, peering breifly into each room as I wizzed by

this guy's all bathed in light. almost like he's patrolling the hallways, just coming from one of the rooms to take a look around to see how little things have changed...

it must've been really hot and odiferous in there on such a scorching day
