I work not too far from this old Drive in. Theres a similar one in Burrville, CT as well. You can still see the sign and the screen. Its not too overgrown either.

Yeah i check out dumpsters from all sorts of places if the dumpster isnt guarded anyway. More than once ive been told i cant take something out of one "because its just not allowed"

But would a phone worth maybe $5 be worth spending hundreds of $ a day to have security guard it

OK Lynne, if thats how you feel, fine,. But let me tell you i know for a fact that the places like this are not guarded because of fear of theft of old keys or telephones, the owners or cities have the guarded because they fear someone will get inside, get hurt, and look for a lawsuit. The guarding is only to protect themselves from a lawsuit brought on by someone sneaking in for whatever reason.. Yes vandalism is a fear among abandoned places. Its a shame that people go around places like this and set fires, have paintball gun wars, break windows, and spray paint graffitti all over the place. Its a shame those who have done that have ruined it for those who just want to take pictures and yes maybe a souvenier that no one would possibly miss.

Thanks Nauseous, see im not the only one who thinks that everything in this hotel is an item that no one could possibly miss and even if, woud anyone god honestly care? More than likely the place is going to be torn down or redeveloped and it would all be thrown into a guarded dumpster since theyd be afraid of someone suing them if they got in there and got a little paper cut

So what are we supposed to do Lynne, wait until the whopping 2 sec when the dumpster isnt being watched by an armed guard and hope we find an unbroken 1 by then.
