Oh my gosh...I remember those reducing belts! I also was a regular at The Pines throughout my childhood in the 80s and 90s. I grew up there in the summers. I loved everything about it. There was something corny yet so familiar and comforting about it. Every summer I would travel with my parents and grandparents to the Catskills, and I will never forget it. I always met other kids from all over the NY, NJ, CT, PA area, and it was a blast. Some of the best memories I have are from the Pines, and it though it upsets me to see its current state, I'll always remember it the way it was :).
