I have just recently become obsessed with old, abandoned buildings and have visited quite a few sites and I gotta say, this site is incredible.

I spent 10 weeks on the grounds.I was in this building to pick up meds.Visited the cementary.There are tunnels connecting the buildings.They were sealed i used to look into them from the window in the basement.I think the place is great always wished they would put the buildings to good use.I never seen any ghosts there.Always slept good.

There is a cementary there down the road from the water tower.

a) look at the lighting on the object, then look at the lighting in the room. Notice the difference?
b)the perspective between the object and its background seems off
c)shadows. whoa boy, the shadows undeeneath the large feet on the sides make it look like its floating, and the spaller posts (and the rest of the machine doesnt even cast a shadow

by "put there" im guessing you meant digitally?

guys dont go onto the roof and try and get to the second biggest part of the roof, the platform that the cube sits on has an alram inside it, my friend tryed going in it and set one off, dont try it you will most likely get arrested

In the deep water marine trade this is a smal engine. Some larger engines have as much as 7000(and more) HP per cylinder.

I have to say, I thought it was wierd that I love abandoned ships, and i never searched for any of this until now... I think these photos are amazing, and it's great to see others share the same interest!!

Theres a building on the grounds that has a huge tree growing from the floor right up through where the roof used to be. Its the one set apart from the main facility up on a small hill. It really blows these pics out of the water.

Wow, you've GOT to get at least one of these out of there. I bet the UE folks would love giving each other "rides" in them for kicks. Gee, don't know if that's dangerous. It's certainly not such an amusing thought for those old enough to recall their frequent use (polio). Nice links on the Drinker as well! Good work!

yeah ive been to byberry many times in fact i used to live tight by there and i saw some freaky shit when i was there
