Tidbit, in anatomy class in 2000 we were told that most future skeletons would be plastic because it was discovered some that came from India (where most were coming from) were involuntary donors who did not die of natural or accidental causes.
Maybe grave robbers? From what I have heard on documentaries this is what Egyptian mummies often looked like when archeologists opened the tombs only to discover thieves had dug into it from a different angle.
You have to wonder what took place to leave the left Ilium and Femur in nearly articulated position on top of the debris under which one assumes the rest of the remains still lay
I've used concrete paint that color on the floors in my house to control for damp. It was/is a waterproof sealer it's very thick and I think it has latex in it. My home is on a slab and is 65 years old I expect the stuff works from both sides water on top or to stop it from emitting out of the concrete.

That tile and brick of the same color was ubiquitous in the part of North E. NJ I grew up in. I called it catholic brick because so many of the catholic schools and churches I saw were built with it.
Turns out that glased tiles like that were a 'modernity' because impermeable surfaces were less likely to harbour live disease or germs. I think we got away from that concept because cleanliness in general is more common and the use of drugs.
autoguy I would think the hard part would be finding the engineers and architects withe the knowledge to be able to design a building like this, stone Mason's would have no problem building what was on the plans.
Is it weird that that seems familiar and almost homey to me? Except for it missing the angled curbs at the base of the wall that could be the same hall I spent an awful lot of my childhood in sitting uncomfortably against the curb at the base of the wall.
The artistry of the cover is nice. The size of it was because heating was generally designed as a passive system. heat rising and there wold be another vent in the room meant to take the cooler air out.
