very interesting. thank you motts and lynne! i did a search for "olander" and got too many different hits. when i typed in "olander" and "cafeteria" i got 2 hits for this site.

what's strange is i just checked out one of your other galleries for northampton and found this cafeteria which was indeed titled "oleander". coincidence? accident? or gmta???

poor place was caught in a mosh. reminds me of an old episode of 21 jump street where this high school kid trashes his place in his guilt over being hired for murder all to the tune of 'institutionalized" by suicidal tendencies (first album, of course).

LOL, i have a "soundtrack" in mind for every picture and if i can't think of one, i create it. thanks for the inspiration, motts and crew.

-note- there are some instances where silence is not necessarily the absence of music. hmm.

some paganini might be appropriate... a caprice in e minor, perhaps?

i do like the lamp effect, albeit unintentional. it reminds me of the ectoplasmic photos of old.

for a nanosecond there, i thought i saw "oleander cafeteria" which would have been a tacky name for an eating establishment as oleander is highly poisonous. i wonder who olander was... looks like i have some homewirk to do....
