The box on the gurney is a standard bedside nightstand. The bar on it is to hang a towel/washcloth on. We still have some in the facility where I work, and in fact, I have one in my office I use for storage.
if i were to venture a guess i would say this cat took residence here after the hospital was out of order i dont think anyone would let a cat go to the bathroom all over so my guess it is not the work of a human. its not from starvation judging from the poop this was a very well fed cat. i would also say this was not the work of another animal because if another animal killed it it it would have consumed the cat not just killing it for the thrill of the chase. i doubt from a fall or the cats legs would be splayed straight out in an attempt to land on its feet as all cats do. if you look at any mummified cat thats been in heat its mouth is always open due to skin shrinkage. i would say this was just a stray using the hospital as a place to stay maybe out of the sun or rain. it went in the most comfortable place to die and probably died a peacefull death. as far as being upside down in the drawer i would say it was moved after death for some reason possibly to make room for something where it looks like a place was cleared of both cat and fecal matter possibly by the hobo... so take a deep breath im sure this cat had a very free & fulfilling life and peaceful death.
I think I'm going to be sick.... I love cat's especially my obese one that I've had since I was a 1 year old. I hate to think that this might happen to him, He's really old
Yeah, I wouldn't even go NEAR that place, and it's definitely creepy that there's just a random chest.. I wouldn't look inside it even if I was there lol
