That video of those engines working is pretty cool, they look like they only ran somewhere between 60-100 RPM from the speed of the flywheels in the video. That's not a very fast running engine. You can also tell it was insanely noisy, too.

I actually grew up near here. My Grandfather worked at "the steel" and so did my dad. The corporate HQ were not located where Lehigh University is, but they did have a research lab at the top of this hill, and this is now part of Lehigh. Great photos..it still amazes me that something that was so vibant when I was a little kid could just vanish.
