Battleship gray paint, Safety Yellow, Gloss Black, and plenty of Johnson's floor wax! When I was a "Motor Inspector", Substations and Motor rooms were kept quite clean. Strict enforcement! You better wipe your feet. If you scratched a pipe with a wrench, you repainted it. A motor room was a thing of beauty. Makes me sad to see them like this, but it was worse watching ones get demolished. That would make you cry.
MY substation was demolished while I watched in horror. Never have gotten over it. I've never been the same since.
Actually, Shadow, the yellow markings in the middle say "24". The grafitti on either side reads "DO ME"
