I worked and trained in Severalls Hospital in the early 90s.
It was a beautiful place . I walked those connecting hallways 100s of times. I now work in another Asylum in Pennsylvania.

There is no tour that I know of.

is there a tour or do u have to get in yourself

my nan was a nurse at the hospital during the war.app there is a mile long corridor underneath the grounds of the hospital with cells very similar to silence of the lambs & the entrance was sealed shut in 1938

So very lonely... something about the ivy in an otherwise empty hallway really heightens the sensation of isolation.

Got to love the plants creeping in through the openings... almost like a light of life and hope in an otherwise dying place.
