that gray machine on the right looks as though it may start right up with a couple of well placed kicks.

wow. look closely at the floor. it's like, a geographic map. the green mold the land and the blue on the side there is the ocean. haha and standing in the middle of the continent is a chair fit for a god. Very thought provoking picture, Motts.
Great shot Motts!! Love the colors on this one!
Not sure exactly what it is about this one, but I like it.
What's that darker object in the opening? (sorry, my eyes can't seem to make it out)
Holy crap!! This gives me nightmares! Just thinking about trying to clean this up and organize stuff is enough to give me a headache.
When I took geology in college, they had a wooden cabinet like this in the room full of all kinds of rocks. I think this would be very interesting to look at. (Yeah, I like looking at rocks and stuff.)
Weird place to store this kind of thing though.

I'd think that at least some volunteers could be organized to transport some of this equipment to other facilities in need.

Great shots! Thanks for sharing them, Motts.

The joys of a state-run facility. Now, if this were a private facility that closed, you can believe that anything salvagable like this would have been put to good use somewhere else... It's a shame that the government isn't willing to do that to help out some of the smaller places that can't afford nice new equipment like this!

What a mess! Poor Janice...

I'm amazed by how much equipment was just left behind, now unused. It doesn't seem like it would cost too much to transport things such as wheelchairs. We're such a wasteful society...

Definitely some unusual pieces of equipment in this place!

Well, i took a summer course at a hospital, and when they told me what a wheelchair costed i didn't belive them. It's a waste to just let them stand unused like this..

Haha my uncle, who is a geologist, would find this place interesting.
