It's funny... This place is right by my aunt's house, which i just got back from. and i saw this place... We didn't see this front entrace cause we went in another entrace, near the Nurse's dorms. Actually, the Nurse's dorms have been turn into a bee school, were we went to help our cousin extract honey. We saw the back of the building, where the fire had been. At the time we didn't know much about the place, but it was creepy, and the air, including the Nurse quarters, reeked of death, or more of decay and some diesise(srry 4 spellling). maybe that was just my fear... anyways me nd my sissy poked around the nurse's quarters. lots of rooms with desks, and an old, creepy bathroom. The second floor was an old police headquarters, and we found some old reports ( <:O!), but then it was all the bee school. The basement smelled of death, but there were old county fair signs. Just a creepy place to be, wish we could've gone in the actual building!

I live down the street from the hospital. The back half is burnt down, but the building is not demolished. There is now a fence around the perimeter and the cops take notice if you are down there. Its illegal to enter the hospital now and you can be arrested, if caught.
We are stepping up security again, and plan on having different officers and a K-9 patrolling the grounds 24/7 effective 7/15/2010. You will be arrested and prosecuted if you pass the fence. We will release the dog if you try and run or do not surrender. You are breaking the law by being there. The Massachusetts State Police and Plymouth County Sheriff's Department will also be patrolling the area time to time and will help us capture anyone who enters. Is it really worth getting arrested and facing jail and/or fines? STAY OUT.

At kyleigh... Yes there were still some really cool stuff left in there.. But not like in these pics. Thats y i was disappointed.. The basement was really cool, and yes the x-ray room was awesome as well!.. But i think the most interesting floor was def the 1st floor. Seeing how that's were most of the medical equipment, bed frames, and mattresses were. Along with a lot of other cool stuff... I took a video of my whole trip there in HD, if your interested i could try an email it to you?.. Ide post them on you-tube, but i don't wont ne more reckless people finding this location, and destroying it ne more... Thankfully i live in Whitman, the next town over, so im gana try an go back sometime in the future :).

i totally agree with ben. i went a few nights ago and was only disappointed about how much people have destroyed the place. seeing the old macharinery was cool though. like the x-ray room and the old photocoppier. and the stuff in the basement. there wasnt much left in the place.. all debris on the ground. the whole building is fenced around now. obv stil ways in. i hope to go again and make a video.. maybe next time i will hear these noises people always say they here. because no wierd activitys or noises occured when i was there.

Got inside last week. Although it was an awesome trip, and i had a real good time exploring the place, i cant help but to be disappointed... This place is trashed!! It looks like crap from the outside, and even worse on the inside. Its dangerous above all as well...There is almost nothing interesting inside.. I didn't experience anything paranormal. The only creepy feelings i got were when the cops came.. i could hear the car stop, the officer walk out, checked around, then drove away.. I cant stress enough how serious the cops are about this place.. After looking at these pics for months and wishing to get inside, after seeing it, im only sadend. Sadend that such a beautiful place could get so mistreated.

Will someone go here with me? I have a fascination with stuff like this but all my friends are afraid of cops (or ghosts). I need some friends who aren't bitches.

I worked at Plymouth County Hospital in the late 70's, early 80's... first as a candy striper, then as a nurse's aid while I was in school. Looking at these pictures give me chills and the weirdest feeling. Working there helped me become who I am today... so many patients suffered there in these ten bed wards with no privacy or dignity. The place still haunts me, although I have not gone back to view it in ruins...
