The photo and lighting really capture the details and workmanship of it. This place must've been awesome when it was kept up...

Does anybody else see the "micro-village" in the mossy area? It must be where the Schmarfs live. (They are a species very closley related to the Smurfs.)

The array of colors sorta draws you into the picture. It looks like a little world of it's own. Those red block things look sorta like roofs.

This old guy who lives near me once owned a drive-in theater in the 60's. Last year, he and his wife auctioned off a bunch of farm equipment and stuff he had at the drive in. He had a Simplex just like that, with a bunch of projector supplies and many 35mm films he'd kept. The whole lot sold for $250 (MEGA STEAL) I sort of wish I could've afforded to bid on that stuff...

I saw a woman too, but I think its different then yours, ghost white woman head turned towards the ceiling you see the bottom of her eyes and a large nose, he mouth is open and she appears to be wailing and her brown hair is blowing uncontrollably around her.....right above the chair, the splash of white is her face/neck toros and her hair is the brown portion that frames it......
It looks like they all had to leave in a hurry. I'm sure that this stuff was all strewn about long after the place was shut down, but it's fun to imagine.
WOW!! I love looking at machines I don't understand. They always end up looking so awesomely creepy.
Beautiful! It's been a long time since I've been here, but I'm pleased to see this site is still being updated.
I guess this is where all lonely chairs aspire to be.
