I was wondering the same thing. Then it dawned on me they probably didnt take into consideration the wind. The nuclear fall out would fall straight down. Now days we know that it can be carried by the wind.
No one can for sure unless you can smell it - if it even has a smell after all this time. But it does look very similar to when my cat dragged his ass across the rug so I would have to vote for poo - -:)
