Yes, it still functions as an old age home. The abandoned buildings on the property look beautiful to me, but I don't know if the residents and employees of the facility would agree or not. The active sections look clean and well kept from the outside.

Almost any lightbulb can last for ages if there is a constant supply of power to it, it is when a light is turned on and off that the damage is done to it, you can just leave a lightbulb burning for years and nothing will happen to it, but if you turn it on and off for a day or two then it will burn out much much much much much quicker
