way back in the day this is where inmates were hung,the stairs lead to platforms where citizens would watch the hanging. The last person to die by hanging in massachusetts was hung here for killing his family...

im loling at the fact that right above the showers are fire extinguishing heads. crap, why have that there when all you have to do is just turn on all the showers?? that or have a big enough 3 to 4 foot pool and just get your bath that way.
