Almost all the buildings are gone now, except for one and the clocktower.
Make appartments out of these buildings. I don't know where it is located but it shouldnt be possible to demolish such nice and old buildings!

Haven't been here in a while; good to see new galleries posted!

Also, I want a keyhole window like that one in the background of that shot.

I worked here in the 1970's. While some of the psychiatric staff were brilliant and innovative, it was often difficult to tell the old-time line staff from the patients (by the keys! you identify who is who by the keys!). The place was indeed creepy- little happened in the "old section" even at that time, but there was a sheltered workshop housed in that ancient area. The wind blowing made the creepiest sounds, and the "tombs" were visible through little arched windows that rose above the baseboards on the first floor.
I have often thought this would be a stunning movie set, and that the Commonwealth missed the boat in not leasing it out- frequently.

Perhaps it was the inspiration for Wall-E. My Wifes name is Eva and she still turns kind of red when Wall-E screams "Eva!" LOL!

maybe some of the patients here had families visit them and this stroller was for that?
