must've been a bitch getting bodies on and off those basket -y stretchers. i worked in a cancer hospital and moved my share of bodies, and they are not easy to move. the weight isnt distributed evenly, and you have to be careful b/c they bruise easily. dead cancer patients tend to be on the thin side, but it still feels heavy as hell. the morgue was the only place in the hospital without a label or signs leading to it. inside there was an entire shelf of brains in jars of formalin. one time, a maintenance guy made a joke about avoiding the hospital's cafeteria food as we wheeled a body to the waiting fridge.
