After reading some of the history of the place, I wonder if the staff there actually sat down and helped the people learn how to eat, in a patient manner anyway.

Tjcee, I wonder if they were crosses or maybe there was some design or something on there in that shape that has since fallen off. It looks like they are on the end of every row.
