this place creeps me out more than the more decrepit ones cuz of the bathrooms with windows to look in to them and the "sisters" and "brothers" thing!

My wife and I bought a house that is from 1909. When we moved in, I could hear laughing and talking and the clinking of plates and dishes. When I went downstairs, there was nothing there.

A few weeks later, we peeled all the ugly old wallpaper in the dining room and the noises stopped.

I spoke with the original owner's son and told him about the noised I heard. His face went white when I told him. Come to find out, his mother (who use to own the house) use to have huge dinner parties with all of her family almost every weekend.

Part of me wishes I didn't tear down the wallpaper so I could still hear those sounds.
