I haven't looked through this gallery yet! I have been dropping hints to Motts here and there throughout his site about publishing a coffee table glossy!!!

Oh, please email me "redwoodv" at that hot mail place to let me know if (and when) you do go for that idea! I'll buy TWO of them! :o)

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this wonderful site, Motts!

...Imagine sitting in this little cell, and you hear a noise... you look out the peephole and see a bloodshot, dark, expressionless eye looking through that same peephole at you... you scream, but no one can hear you, no one will ever hear you... that eye takes a step back, so you can see who it belongs to... you see a pale, oh so pale skinned patient, with an expressionless face on a cocked head, and long, dark, scraggly hair ontop of that cocked head...that expression...the one that is not there..... it is so creepy..... a little taste of my imagination there!

Motts, i have to ask... what was in that casket? was it empty? if it was, i probably woulda lied down inside of it, just for kicks....lol!
Yes it does have the quality of a clouded eye staring at the rooms and also like a portal in time.It also reminds me of a bizzare picture frame around a painting of an asylum.
Geri chairs are still used for the comfort and care of people who do not walk. This recliner could be found in any nursing care facility today.

I'm really not sure, I want to say it was boarded but I don't think it was. The facade might be covered in ivy or overgrowth.
motts,
Any idea why there was light in the first room and not the next one down?

The so called "extra cage" around the window, is for one reason only, so that the window can be opened and fresh air can come in. We only have 3 windows on our unit , that have barred windows that open and we all wish there were more. Especially the patients, so they can get fresh air into their rooms. Nothing smells worse than a room with someone that doesn't bathe, wets the bed and passes gas all night. Enough to make you gag.

I don't remember, probably a crumpled window shade or maybe asbestos piping.

That white thing is strange:S maybe some sort of stain or a cardboard cutout with a person on it or something.. yeah that sounds strange:P but i really don't know what it would be...
