After some initial discussion with friends in the industry, I've decided to publish a book, but it will be down the road a bit... I have so many places I've been to and haven't gotten to go through the photos yet, and would want my first book to have the most incredible places in it. Thanks for all the feedback!

Your photos are fantastic! I have goosebumps just looking at them! Its very awful to think that people actually once walked these halls and lived out their lives in these scariest places on earth. :0
What's a solarium...? Lol. I can tell it's a place where there's a lot of sun, but I was wondering if people ate there or it was like a giant livingroom or what?
That's a bit creepy.
Ps- I love your photography and if you wanted a prototype of a book I could make one, I'm in graphics and I have the ability to make books. not top notch ones, but theyre alright
I love the reflection on the wall of the window. God damn I want to go in there so bad. I think I'm going to just do it.
Yup it is a pretty creepy place, though when it was running I don't think it looked so foreboding.I find it ironic that alot of these old asylums are some of the most beautiful buildings built yet when they were functioning no one would want to live in them.
All the red looks like oozing blood
Boy I am glad I wasn't commited back then

Mr. Motts,
I have recently discovered that there are others in the world who share my fascination with abandoned buildings. Your pictures have caused me to stay up much too late, and I am obviously not alone. I have looked at a number of wonderful sites in the past week but your work gives me the joy of feeling that I am in the building. I would willingly purchase (or ask a family member to purchase for me as a Christmas gift!) a book of your explorations. Thank you!

No jumpers here. It would suck to hide from the zombies if they were in there with you.

Good place to hide from the zombies, then.

I'm wondering if the bars were added at a later date, or designed in from the beginning. Any thoughts??
