I think the most interesting part of this very very strange room.. is all of the doorways. Where did they lead? That may give us a clue to what it may have been used for. What is on the floor? Straw? And the arrangement of the tables in the center of the room is odd. Is there a chandelier missing? or did it just not make it into the frame?
Ya.. the logs in the fire place is kinda eerie.. What did it used to say above the mantle? Medical Capital??

This place has held up extremely well.. I don't think it has been neglected for very long.
Held up remarkable well.. The rose tones give a really warm inviting look.
That place is actually really beautiful. The grounds are stunning.
