Yeah....ghosts.

Does anyone actually beleive that the spirits leave behind anything?

Feelings and emotions you get from viewing a picture, or from looking at something in real life are just that, constructs of your humanity. Its the same as color, there IS no color, its just light being reflected back to our eyes being interpreted by our brain.

So there IS no emotion without life, therefore any emotion you feel while looking at such picture is NOt a remnant of the past any more than looking at a broken pencil is.

This was the smoking room. No ashtrays were needed. Just flick all the ashes and butts into the puddle

I've never heard of anybody getting a flat tire on a wheelchair. Maybe they fixed bicycles too.

Why is it, whenever you find a typewritter, the keys are jammed?

I would scoop up a handful and take them. I've did this with several abandoned buildings I've been in.
Lots of interesting reading.

As if I needed one more reason to fear clowns. The photo is great, no doubt about that. The subject just happens to be a permanent resident in my own private hell.

It always saddens me to see this many records scattered about without a care. These are someone's personal history and they shouldn't be treated like garbage.

I know that when buildings close there isn't always money for long-term, secure storage, but Jesus Murphy, don't leave this stuff lying around.

Showin' my age here a bit, but i work for an Etone dealer. This is likely the lower half of an old PA microphone. The toggle swithces would be used to activate areas of speakers, and you'd press the rectangular switch ("To Call Press Here") to make your announcement. In picture "Red & Blue", there appears to be a wooden speaker baffle laying on the floor lower left, likely part of this system. Impressed? Niether is my wife.
