Yes, Any main gates are chained shut, all windows on the ground level are boarded up. When i visited the place, my friends and i were able to pull a board back to get inside but the place is all locked up and secruity now do have motion sensor placed, they have night vison and k-9. The place is locked up tight. It is an amzing place but the risk is high now. we got caught and that wasnt fun.
Yeah. I've been in that hall. Didn't see anyone, other than the kids that were with me, but hearing echo's of footsteps when no one was there was one of the scariest moments in my life. BTW, place looks quite different at midnight.
There are no trespassing signs everywhere. So, I talked to the policewoman on duty at the trailer and she said that it was legal to take photos from the road (which I expected), but to not step on the grounds. There was one patrol car parked there. The trailer is fenced in with K-9 warnings. While taking pictures, I noticed at least one other park police vehicle pass by me on the road, and a couple PG county police cars. Waved to one of them. He waved back. This was between roughly 3:30-4:30pm. Bottom-line: I think security is pretty tight there so don’t press your luck. Have no idea if they do have night vision, cameras, and/or motion detectors, but would not rule them out. Hope I got some good pics for my photography course.
I believe in ghosts but i think that the people that were there are still there. My dad once went there but the police got there before he could see anything. I think kids who think they are better than everyone else, like the people who did the graffiti , should encounter the ghosts that are there and LEARN THEIR LESSON!!!
In answer to John Black, today ECT is only used after all other choices have been exhausted. I underwent it in 2001 for depression and would not recommend it unless the patient has tried every other possible procedure or medication. It does cause memory loss and they do use mouth gags (these were used on me to keep me from biting my tongue). Only those who were in the hospital would know what they were used for in this hospital, but ECT is what mouth gags are used for in psychiatric hospitals.
ok so me n a friend went on the property...yes there were cops but we jus went around tha back..the cops never oncce left thier litl trailor building...o and it was like 2 pm...it was not hard to get on the property at all..but we only got on the adult hospital side..and we found the morgue and the "crematorium" ? im not realy sure wat it was but it was creepy lol but trust me..the cops that were there were the last thing i was worried about...
A lot of good imagination. Now how about renovating it and taking some more pictures. Of course do this after we get some film maker to make a scary movie and make the money available to restore it.
it's where we live.
i lived in old bowieas a teen (1975) we would hang out in the parking lots there one of our freends dad worked and lived there in a doctors house atached to a bulding right across from the main entranse to the frount doors so we all hung out we could go in just about any time we wanted usly on dates wow siting in the theater and every one is drinking and runing around the stage later in the early 90s a guy named DOUG raped this young girl and put her body in a bearal and hid it there we were older by now and DOUG was still creapy but we thought he would do something like that espusely when he was at his house in Seabrook 5 miles away with a guy named Donny M and PGCO Police and NBC News knocked on his door for questions like we saw the news report and called him saying what are you doing on the news "don't know what you are talking about"week later they found her body on Daisy lane in Glendeal in a old 55 gal. drum that fluid used for dead people were stored JUST like the ones in the morague aera at the hospital yea realy a fantastec plase alot of things that were hard to explane jus cause we drank didnt mean they didnt happen i could go all night my frends too also on the grounds by #450 there is a water tower we used to clime it and paint 5 musketrs & our girl frinds names. one time the latter broke we fell about 30 'the latter broke a cap on the tank and the latter stuck in the ground at a angle Ray Ray and i climed down that section water spraying every were hard so we squzed through the gate and left that next morning the streets were full of ice. o we also know a guy named john h who saw the goat man there and other places too <---joe boy cant spell to good sorry ALL THIS IS THE TRUTH and i have more storys Limons bridge , Govers bridg rd. I just went to the hospital last night... it was pretty creepy, we swore we heard some noises a few times. the only thing that sucked was i really had to pee, lol... so for anyone who is thinking about visiting make sure you make a bathroom run before hand.
I am an amateur photography who specifically likes to photograph abandoned buildings. I live not far from Glenn Dale and have always toyed with the idea of visiting Glenn Dale to shoot but have always been afraid of getting caught. Does anyone have any recent stories of exploring Glenn Dale? I've heard that if you approach the police instead of sneaking around they might be more willing to let you explore? I don't necessarily want to go into any of the buildings, but I would like to explore and photograph the grounds, preferably in the day light.
