this has been some what hinted on but i just wont to state my general interest and concern as to the fact that tap bells and mouth gags were stored specificly in conjunction and esclusively in this room.
and next to it was the strait jacket and hair gell room no doubt

A very ignorant comment.......I went up there last week, very sad. If you think the photos tell a story, try walking the rooms.

truly sad things, the photos tell a story by themselves.

I have been to Glenn Dale. Unfortunately my friend got scared on the second floor so we never made it past there. These shot are beautiful. Being in these places, you can just sense the life that once occupied these halls! I love it.
This reminders me of a photograph I took today in a hangar from WWII.

Could this be a sump pump device? Most places here in the "d.c. swamp" are wet. The older bldgs were prepared for wet basements. Very scary and good photo. Please be careful in your wanderings.

I would imagine that in time these vines will reclaim the space for nature as the vines and trees reclaimed the spaces of the Aztec and Mayan temples. If only they are given enough time to accomplish the task.
