This was probably a stray looking for someplace warm to sleep in the winter. Possibly froze to death or died of old age. I doubt someone shut the cat up in there to die.

I doubt somone intentionally "locked up the cat", I personally believe it is more likley the cat found its way in there after somone had opened the cabinet and then laid down and died from natural causes, plus its weired the bones are picked white, normally rotten corpses have that nasty dried rotted meat clinging to the bones, especially if they're not open to the air and other scavangers..I.E. insects... pretty neat I think

I didn't relize that was the autipsy room. I didn't see a sign or anything. That's scary!

Thank you, Mr. Motts. I agree it was pretty swell that someone actually tried to do something nice. A little while ago we were making negative comments because other places were too sterile and blank. Guess you're doggoned if you do, and goldurned if you don't. ;-)

On the other hand, I don't know whether this was actually a pediatric wing, but regardless, my experience has been that the majority of mural paintings such as this done in mental health facilities are done by the people who actually are living there at the time.

The reason why these buildings can't be used is because of the asbestos that was used during construction. I also believe that the paint used on all of the buildings constructed before 1979 contain lead. The price of cleaning up these buildings is over $80 million. No one is willing to absorb that cost.
