im doing an AS Photography course and i used this photograph i one of my units. my tutor loved the way light was being projected, and I think the intensity of the colour is amazing.

They had the local kids paint murals on the boards over the windows, most likely to lessen the "scary" aura of an abandoned psychiatric hospital.

I was doing a safety audit on the SNF section of campus last week and I came across a soap dispenser exactly like this one in one of the bathroom areas. I caught sight of it out of the corner of my eye, whipped my head around so quickly I shoulda been placed in traction, stopped dead in my tracks with my eyeballs popping out of their sockets, and started a pathetic frantic giggling/whimpering. The nurse I was doing the walk-through with kept looking at the soap dispenser and back at me to see why I was thusly affected. I couldn't quite explain it, because it truly loses something in the translation, but it entertained the hell out of me nonetheless (and probably started some swell rumors about the psycho psychologist). 8`-)

P.S. Twug, my dear, this is a dead horse ya just COULDN'T beat to death as far as most of us are concerned. 8`-)

A light that looks like a soap dispenser. Good deal, Motts. Speaking of which, I came in on this one kinda late, and I guess I AM beating the proverbial dead horse. But, Motts DID you find that elusive soap dispenser-looking light yet?

The mirrors and soap dispensers(?) are remarkably intact.

And it would be just as creepy and out of place if it wasn't peeling.

By the way, why would someone hang a plant up by the ceiling. What an odd place to put it.
