There is my answer, it would take a crane to get the block out of there. Still seems like a waste.

This photograph sort of reminds me of the ferry boat that I have taken to get on Anderson Island in Washington State.

Tres cool. Wonder why someone took the head, induction and exhaust and left the rest. Maybe they were easiest to carry, or the bottom end was in bad shape

Wow, it is in much worse shape than it appears from the outside.

This vessel reminds me of the ferry boats that I would take across the bay when I was living in Izmir, Turkey. All of the life jackets were stored in compartments above our heads. The ferry boats were filled to capacity. I am glad that we never had a capsize when I was there and I hope that they never, ever have one. Some ferry boat captains have been known to build on a few extra decks just for some extra money. This results in creating a top heavy boat which has led to some very dire consequences. Anyway these photos awesome.

It does not look like it got stuck, it was moored there and abandoned.

Hope you had a good vacation. Thank you for sharing it with us and taking us to such cool places.

If I had the money then I purchase and refit these two boats and get them up and running again. Wonderful photography Motts !

The sea, really does destroy, it destroys sometimes rapidly and sometimes slowly. No wonder most of my time on the deck force was spent chipping, sanding and painting!
