^^Yep. Here's what it looks like in original condition. Might even be the same original color too.

"Happy Sunday. I don't even know if Buick is still making cars."

@flushed - Buick helped save GM. They have been making top notch cars for years now and are only getting better by catering to the younger crowd in design (hence Buick's this is not your grandfather's Buick ads). It only took Buick/GM 25 years to get the marketing message on what people want when they were buying foreign cars.

Nice shot. Would love to see more of that -- but I'm just into these cars really... This one might have been either hit or had a lot of miles on it because all four headlight bulbs have been replaced at some point.

It's a 1975 LeSabre 4-door hardtop. Too bad.

I just found it in another picture "Brethren" is the tractor to which the brush is attached. You can just barely see the wheel behind that truck chassis.

This is it! The tractor has the porcupine attached to the front of it! Son of a gun!

There the porcupine is! In front of that fork lift up against the front of the car on the left side. It looks like one of those detachable brushes that are still used today to hook up to the front of skid steers or walk behind earth movers. Thanks BenJu and Motts.

John Galt, there is a new post in the first picture with a link to a page where the guy who bought this engine has pictures posted of the restoration he is doing. You are correct they removed the stack to get it out.

Looks like this tractor has found a new owner in 2015 and is going to be restored:

Thats a rotary brush mounted to the front of the 'white tractor' a few pictures back.
You can see a portion of the sweeper body, angle drive gearbox, shaft & chainsproket what turns the brush and PTO shaft going back to the tractor gearbox.

I think it's tucked in the back behind the truck frame, I missed it too, good eye! http://opacity.us/image11219_skeleton.htm

What a shame these marvelous pieces of machinery just sitting there and rusting....what a waste. Thank you for the great photos.
