is there anything in this hospital that isnt up for viewing pleasure?
it seems like even the bathrooms would have nice little catwalks across the top so that nurses could "study" the patients even further.
it all sounds like some horror story where the doctors are being held captave in this hospital and constantly being survalenced by "nurses" that are actualy secret agents and all the while the patients are kept blissfully unaware, but if one of them do find out, OFF TO THE BLACK AND BLOO ROOMS WITH YOU!
again, very 1984ish.

sad thing is i totaly got stuck in one similar to that in my grandmas house!
IT WOULD NOT OPEN!
it was the scariest thing ever, but I did learn that the little light DOES go off when u close the door!
Nope the whole observation deck in the delivery room struck a nerve...
Just makes me sick that doctors expect us to see a different doctor every visit and have no idea who will show up when we deliver. And then they have deliveries and do exams and might as well prop the door open for anyone who wants to gawk... makes me sick.
Perhaps these black rooms were for used as isolation rooms.. Pt.s in phsycological crisis.... so it won't stimulate thier minds further like other bright colors would.
I used to work with a "mentally ill" man who did art similar to this. But my favorite piece by him was a sort of paper sculpture on a table in the window. It was an Aunt Jemima box with various folds and attached objects, and what looked like antennae. Every morning he would turn it in a certain direction and every night he'd turn it around again. I asked him why and he explained how turning it one way or another caused the sun to rise or set. He was a very nice and gentle old man who had become responsible for the daily rising and setting of the sun. Good old Alex...
i think they expected you to byos...
bring your own snack!
wasn't there a scene in "coma" where two people where working in autopsy room on a body & one guy was eating a huge sandwich?!?
