How did I miss THIS? O_O I live within 15 minutes of this place. Never been there, and now its way too late. :(
Really enjoyed this gallery, Motts! Thanks again, for all the photos you take of places like this before they're gone for good.
I love everything about this photo, Motts! The way you were able to capture the detail & color of the bricks; the same with the fancy entrance; the detail of the ironwork; and the architectural detail à few feet above the window.
Yeah! That lamp is in excellent condition, and I think the brown door, to the left, is actually in better conditiion than many doors in this place. But the door is missing its doorknob, poor thing! : (
@Icewax. Gross! Here I was having happy good feelings about the previous living room photo. Then you just HAD to mention in the comment section here about how you wondered if whoever opened the cathéter package 'used it'. Seriously!? UGH!!!
Can you imagine how nice it must have been for those sick children, if they put up a big Christmas tree in this living room at Christmas time!? Remember Motts found evidence of an ornament that got left behind!
I think I like the 'inner' French doors better than I do the 'Outer' doors. The 'Outer' doors are unique. They're just a little 'too busy' for me. To each his own!
Hey! I'm actually the first to comment on this photo? Wow!

Okay! This shot actually makes me feel like I'm headed into thé 'darkness' even tho I'd actually be going towards a window. (Shiver!)
Definitely nice old appliances!
Whoa! What a grand looking mess! However, if one uses their imagination....If you look at the wall to your right, and at the paint/white mold that's left on the wall, you might just see a big ole ugly female ghost! I call her a Banshee! Ooo-Eee-EWW!!! : O
Wow! That hallway ceiling looks awfully black with mold and looks soaking wet, too. Do you think it was getting pretty close to collapsing, Motts, because it was just so saturated?
