@ eldokid - not unless you do something insanely stupid like try and disassemble the thing. (see link) The entire point of an X-ray machine is that radiation only goes one place and only when the technician tells it to.

There's something about religious items in a state of disrepair that is very upsetting. But at the same time thought provoking and majestic.
I like it. :)

So beautiful, and still in fairly good shape!

This is a place that I could go and just ... be.

If you know what I mean...

I love how open and airy this looks. I think of warm Spring breezes coming through the windows as I watch the butterflies and birds flit about just beyond the windows. :)

I get the impression that maybe this was a day room at one point then made into a chapel? Even so, it's a pretty neat room.
someone has to be opening the doors and windows -
SOAP DISPENSERSSSSSSSSSSS!! A WHOLE HALLWAY OF THEM!!!!

(I have been busy taking our son to the hospital and back so I haven't gotten on til now...lol)

I agree that all it appears to need is some minor repairs, some new paint on the walls and a good scrubbing for the floor and it would be a perfect hallway! :D

What's with people? If you're going to smash the glass, why not smash them all? Not that I'm condoning such things, I'm not. Just making a point (which escapes me at the moment). Nice that they left the transom intact or couldn't they reach it with a rock?
Is that the floor pattern or stains on the floor?

This makes me think of the movie Close Encounters...spoooooky!!!!!

Very nice and it looks like you can move right in!!

there's no bannister to slide down :(
These medical terms crack me up, why don't they just say tooth doctor?
Is that tile? How shiny it is, whatever it is...

I love the light coming though the blinds and reflecting on the wall. :)

cool - I wonder if there is any latent radiation around things like this? Not that it would bother me, I've had so many x-rays, CT scans and MRI's over the years I'm surprised I don't glow in the dark.
