Ya have to wonder how that graffitti got up there by that doorway to the left...when there is nothing there to stand on...hmmmmm...
@Ferdy...I dunno if I would go after a whole STACK of gold or money or diamonds...Yikes. I can just imagine my foot slipping and me sliding off the edge...

*Shudder* ok....I can't think of that anymore! :D
Stairway to Heaven?

Interesing how the railings are all thre and solid and everything else looks like it is ready to fall at any moment. I agree that maybe it is the railings that are holding everything together, but for how much longer? How much longer before the elements and gravily take over?
Interesting "artwork" around this place, that is for sure!
I can almost imagine/feel how this place felt inside...quiet, yet not still...the memories and voices of patients/residents long past still echoing through the now-empty rooms. :)
The railings and bannisters are still there? That is fantastic because in a lot of places like this, things like that are often missing...stolen a long time ago by scrappers looking to make a dime. :(

Love the light at the top of the stairs and the curved part under the stairs. :)
Love the floors too...makes it really himey and welcoming.
I wonder what this looked like in its prime...must have been very beautiful. :) The way you captured the staircase peeking through that doorway is almost ...fantasy-like! :)
The ghosts get hungry too!

Creepy is a good word for this...
Ugh. Looks like a dungeon...wouldn't want to spend time down here!
Awfully dirty, but interesting nonetheless.
Yay. :) More pics. :)

This is the last place I expected to see "korn" scrawled on the wall, great shot, one of my favorites.
