The temperature even in northern italy rarely gets below 30 degrees f. therefore from experience i can tell you to heat this place would not cost as much as we may think, the stone buildings and even modern italian houses take forever to heat but once warm, it holds the heat in very well

JenBSweet, the pipes come up from below and enter into the tub from the side below the edge. There's no faucet sticking out because it goes right into the side. They're freestanding, so there's no wall to mount the faucet on.
