Reminds me of Kurt Vonnegut's "Slaughterhouse Five" where he worked in a Malzzuckerfabrik--malt sugar factory. I wonder how old these stencils really are--could they date from WWII?
Lagershädlingen in a general sense means a place where goods are stored 'pest free'. I would assume that means ratproofing or other pest control. My wörterverzeichnis does not contain the exact word, but indicates pest control.
